ICTP, held atTrieste, Italy, 13 June-29 July, 1994. Its primary goal is to provide a forum for scientists who are active in these fields, particularly from the developing countries, to have an opportunity to listen and interact with some of the leading research workers. It consists of two parts. Part I covered topics in high energy phenomenology and cosmology. They included tests of the standard model, its supersymmetric extension, heavy quark effective theory, baryon non-conservation, theories of fermion masses, neutrino physics, grand unification, LEP physics, inflation and topological defects. Part II covered the more formal aspects of the field. Among the topics covered were black holes, superconformal field theories, WZW models, duality and string theory.
