This volume examines the industrial restructuring in ASEAN and China. It is divided into two parts. Part One focuses on the different experiences of ASEAN and China with industrial restructuring and its effects or implications on foreign economic relations in general, and bilaterally in particular. There is also a study on adjustment in China's industrial structure at the sectoral and regional levels, and a final study which examines the role and contribution of financial development to the industrial restructuring processes in ASEAN.
