Recidivism amongst prisoners and probationers in Singapore : a demographic analysis and a study of selected psychological variables

Information About

This study analyses the profiles of prisoners and probationers about to be released from prison or probation order in Singapore in 1990/1991. The aim of the study is to prove the hypothesis that if incarcerated persons took responsibility for their own actions, and view themselves as worthy human beings, their chances of re-offending is significantly reduced.
