Singapore's transport and urban development options : final report of the MRT Review Team

Information About

Prompted by the Government's concern about the need for and desirability of constructing an extensive rail Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) system, this report presents the findings of a three-month analysis of Singapore's urbantransportation options. The review entailed a careful evaluation of several previous studies of Singapore's transportation problems and needs, and a less detailed examination of current and future urban developmentpatterns.
