Information About

The author describes briefly the beautiful scenery of Malaysia, its fruits and birds and the British possessions of Singapore and Penang as great emporiums of trade as well as Sarawak and Borneo. There are descriptions of the Malays, Chinese, Tamils and Dayaks and their main occupations. The major part of the book is devoted to the work of Christian Methodist missionaries, spreading their religion, establishing theological training schools and printing presses to disseminate religious literature.
