This publication tells the story of Bukit Ho Swee estate and its rapid development in the 1960s. It gives extensive coverage to the fire that broke out on 25th May 1961 in a squatter settlement in Kampong Tiong Bahru and how Bukit Ho Swee was rehabilitated and reconstructed in the aftermath of the fire. The second half of the book highlights the amenities and facilities that are available to Bukit Ho Swee residents.
