Information About

This is the diary of Charles Thomas Grant covering the period from 6 May 1858 to December 1861. The diary contains a record of his tour of Sarawak, as well as his comments on the mining, agricultural and other economic activities of Sarawak. In his diary Grant also records his observations of the customs and manners of the indigenous peoples of Borneo, in particular, the Dayaks.
