This map first appeared in Basset and Chiswell edition of John Speed's Prospect of 1676 and is a copy of de Wit's India Orientalis of circa 1670. However, Francis Lamb the engraver, has cropped de Wit's depiction to the bottom and right, omitting Persia and the north coast of Australia. -- Dealer's description.
