The Singapore Standard Industrial Classification (SSIC) is designed for use in all censuses and surveys as well as statistical analyses requiring classification of economic activities. SSIC 1990 is updated from SSIC 1986 and includes a brief comparison with the SSIC 1986, highlighting the improvements introduced and the rationale for the changes.
