Gravitational collapse and relativity : proceedings of Yamada Conference XIV, Kyoto International Conference Hall, Japan, 7-11 April 1986 / edited by Humitaka Sato, Takashi Nakamura

Information About

The aim of the conference was to survey the theoretical developments of the study of gravitational collapse and black holes in the framework of general relativity. Main emphasis was put on "Numerical relativity", "Exact solution" and related problems in classical relativity. However new aspects of black holes in quantum effects and higher-dimensional theory were also discussed.
