This is the first of 2 volumes. It consists of two chapters. Chapter 1 contains papers on the classification of superalgebras, and the supermultiplets of Poincare superalgebras, in addition to some of the original papers on supersymmetry. Chapter 2 contains papers on Poincare and anti de Sitter supergravity theories in diverse dimensions. There are a number of features of these theories which are emphasized concerning the interactions of scalar, vector and antisymmetric tensor fields. In addition to detailed description of these in Chapter 2, Sections 2-8, an overall summary is provided in Section 10.
