Chinese teawares and utensils

Information About

This publication explores not only the development of tea drinking styles in China, but also many aspects of the important export trade in tea. Various kinds of Chinese teawares were produced for export as well as domestic usage, the largest amount comprising stoneware and porcelain articles. This is reflected in the composition of the exhibition organised as part of the National Museum Centenary celebrations in 1987.
