Information About

In 1913, Norwegian explorer and ethnographer, Carl Lumholtz, went on his final expedition to explore Borneo and document the lives of its indigenous people and environment. Lumholtz's interest in Borneo grew from tales of the island's head-hunting practices. This book is the first of two volumes. It begins with an overview of Borneo and goes on to describe the author's journey into the jungles of Borneo.
