Days of no name / Boey Kim Cheng

Information About

In this collection of poems the poet tried to retain traces of moments of visitation. There are moments, after long strife and sojourns in the wilderness, when a face appears, as a gentle light to give meaning to the waiting, to what had seemed an interminable struggle with one's shadow. While these moments last, one is filled with fortitude, and managing to lose one's shadow, reaches the clearing in the woods.
