Interactive 3D Computer Graphics is about displayingperspective views of three-dimensional solid objects bymeans of an interactive program called D3D (Designingin 3 Dimensions). DSD includes an efficient algorithm forthe elimination of hidden lines and has been used toproduce many illustrations appearing in the book. It is written in the C language and can be executed on any IBM (compatible) PC that has a graphics adapter (CGA, EGA, or AGA). Aiming to demonstrate what users of solid modeling packages can accomplish and to enhance programming skills, the book promotes a practical approach to creating computer graphics. Interactive 3D Computer Graphics will appeal to a wide audience, professionals who teach computer graphics and their students, those developing software for CAD, mechanical and architectural engineers, as well as those who create computer graphics purely for fun. The source code, written in Turbo C of the software is included.
