This is a Japanese map of the Malay Peninsula and Sumatra published on 25th February 1943. This copy bears three faint impressions of the stamp "読売新聞社図書課保存資料". It shows details across the region such as land, air and sea routes, borders between states and countries and the location of important cities and geographical details such as mountains etc. The location of food and assorted natural resources such as pineapple, rice, rubber, tin, oil etc are clearly indicated by the corresponding kanji or katakana.
