Information About

Brookes's letter to Horsfield, to ask him to look over the accompanying birds should he have the time to do so in order that they may discuss the subject when they next meet. Letter includes Horsfield's own hand with statement to vow that he will devote one hour every morning to read MacLeay and Vigor's "Horae entomologicae" for his own monograph on the insects of East India Company Museum. Also includes annotations in Horsfield's hand on subjects relating to the work.
