Stories from the stacks : selections from the Rare Materials Collection National Library Singapore

Information About

"Stories from the Stacks showcases 48 artefacts from the Rare Materials Collection as well as a sprinkling of items from our other collections. It is a diverse selection comprising everything from a 15th-century copper-engraved map of Southeast Asia to the handwritten manuscripts of contemporary Singaporean writers. All the items are accompanied by essays written by a team of librarians from the National Library and invited researchers. These provide a detailed description of each artefact as well as highlights of its history"--Introdution.
