Information About

While most civil service salaries are pegged to that of the private industry, there has been no formal benchmarks for ministers and the senior civil servants in the Superscale and Staff Grades. This white paper presented to Parliament on 21st October 1994 was intended to introduce the formal salary benchmarks for Ministers and Superscale grades, as well as annual reviews for the Civil Service.
