About the Book
A Pictorial Catalogue of Chinese Textbooks in Singapore (1902-2015)” is a companion volume to the first volume that was published in 2014. It features textbooks produced by publishers that were not featured in the first volume. This book comprises two sections: the first, chronicles the history of Chinese textbooks in Singapore. The second section is a joint catalogue of textbooks found in the collections of the National Library, Singapore, Ministry of Education Heritage Centre, and the Wang Gungwu Library at Nanyang Technological University., 《开卷有益•润物无声：新加坡华文教科书图示目录(1902—2015)》,收录了其他没有在2014年所出版的第一本列出的本地华文教科书. 全书为两个部分; 第一部分畅谈教科书历史. 第二部分是新加坡国家图书馆新加坡教育部文物中心和王赓武图书馆的联合书目. 这也是第一个包含了三馆的新加坡华文教科书馆藏的联合书目.
