I remember as a student inventing a game called book-minton. It was basically played using a shuttlecock and our literature books as bats. Instead of a net, we lowered our school's movable pull-up bar to a 'competitive' height. I remember using Animal Farm by George Orwell as my bat. Book-minton was so popular that we even organised a class competition.
