New Bridge Road : then and now

I used to live at the hospital quarters along New Bridge Road across the old Cantonment Road police station, today the site of the New Bridge Road bus terminal. In the 1960's New Bridge Road and Eu Tong Sen Street were completely different to what it is today and the only 2 landmarks that still stand today are the Majestic Theatre and Great Southern Hotel (today housing Yue Hwa). After some searching and matching an archive photo, I managed to find the same location from which the original was shot, showing the contrast of New Bridge Road then and now.
