Sand quarry business at Koh Sek Lim Road

My father Loh Fook Kong who came out to Singapore to start the first sand quarry business using the tin mining technology from Malaya.He found that there was lot of sand to be quarried from a coconut tree plantation at Koh Sek Lim Road.These are some of the photos that I could find. I have some photos of the sand quarry business in the 50s at Koh Sek Lim Road and in the 60s at Tampines, Jalan Guan Choon.
