Family trip to Sentosa

Recollection
As a young chid, a trip to Sentosa means a full day of activities. It will begin with a 10mins ferry ride at World Trade Centre which is the highlight of the trip. Upon arrival at Sentosa, we will hop onto the monorail main station to take a round trip around the island. Places such as Fort Silosa, Tanjong Beach, Butterflies Park and a nature walk will be part of our itinerary. I missed the old Sentosa, as feels like we are away from the main city, with no private-owned vehicles on the island. Giving it a boost to the tranquility. The day will be summed up to watched the beautiful display of the musical fountain. Such trip to Sentosa will take place almost every year with different companions. It will begin with my parents when I'm still a toddler, to a Primary school student on school excursions till a young teenager traveling independently with classmates. Today, Sentosa has enter a new era with world class theme park, aquarium, upmarket seafront living, many more prestigious hotels and many more adventures filled activities that are ideal for family and friends. With Singapore moving towards our 50th birthday, Sentosa has also lived up to the progressive changes we are seeing. It has certainly built profound memories for me to witness the strength of our nation through the years in the eyes of a child born in 1978. Happy 50th Birthday to my lovely home, Singapore! No words can described how proud I am to be a Singaporean. Loving you always....
