Fanta soft drink and Vitagen

Recollection
Thought of writing something light-hearted. When I saw these two advertisements on some old magazines, it just dawned on me that while some things that we remember have been long gone, some still stay on with us. I remember this particular flavour of Fanta was one of my childhood favourites. Think its banana flavour, if I did not remember wrongly. I read on the internet that the banana flavour Fanta is still sold in Japan. Nowadays Fanta come in cans, much like many other soft drinks. Perhaps its more cost effective to manufacture using metal cans, which is easier to recycle. So while Fanta no longer comes in bottle form, it still stays on in another form - it evolved. Next comes Vitagen. This 1980 advertisment shows that Vitagen basically did not change very much for the last 30 over years. Its still using the same bacteria, and its still 125 ml. But wait... there are mango and pineapple flavours, which are no longer in production. I wonder why ? I would have loved these two flavours. I am still drinking Vitagen, and my favourite is the apple flavour. But how I wish it can bring back some of the old flavours, like those stated above. So Vitagen is still with us, but has undergone some minor changes. Perhaps we can try to observe the every day things around us, and see how many of these things have stood the test of time ?
