Navaneetham (1932 – 1933), a periodical, was inaugurated with the intention of fostering self-esteem and equality within the entire Tamil community, regardless of caste.

The magazine was launched in 1932, with M M Bukhari as its editor. It started off as a monthly but on 13 March 1933 became a weekly.  The 12-page weekly was priced at 5 cents. Navaneetham featured a diverse range of content, including editorials, poems, stories, essays, columns, and serials. For instance, it ran the serial story “Kabir Gandhi or Mixed Marriage.” The editorials and other contributions often advocated social cohesion and reform. Notably, one editorial titled 'The Duty of Singapore Tamil People' urged the Tamil community to come together, establish and fortify social institutions.

Navaneetham, which grew from a monthly to a weekly within a year, ceased publication the very next year. Reasons are unknown.
