The Pasir Panjang Tamil Methodist Church (PPTMC), initially founded in 1927 by the British at the Brickworks area to cater to Tamil migrants from India, has been serving the Tamil Methodist community for nearly a century.

Following its inception, PPTMC experienced steady growth in its congregation over approximately five decades. In 1972, the church relocated to Pasir Panjang Road, where services, Sunday School, and Vacation Bible School were held at the home of Rev. Dr. J. Daniel. By 1976, a permanent church site had been secured at its current location on Wishart Road, thanks to the support of the General Conference.

PPTMC conducts Tamil services every Sunday and hosts prayer sessions every Friday. The church supports a range of ministries, including youth services, women's empowerment, and the Methodist Men, to foster fellowship and spiritual growth. The Archives & Communications ministry documents the faith journey of its members, celebrates church milestones, and strengthens connections through digital platforms, ensuring members remain informed, engaged, and united in service. The Evangelism Ministry actively shares Christian teachings and brings hope to communities in Bukit Merah and Choa Chu Kang through outreach initiatives and community engagement.
