Digitised from the original CD. "Opiume" is a chamber opera in six parts and it is commissioned by the Singapore Arts Festival 2004 and the New Vision Festival Hong Kong 2004. It is inspired by the events of the illicit opium trafficking that took place in China in the 19th century and features music composed by Mark Chan. Song lyrics available.
