The exhibition recounts the events and memories surrounding the British surrender, and the Japanese occupation of Singapore, and outlines the legacies of war.  Through oral history accounts, archival records and published material that tell the story of the period, this exhibition highlights the diverse experiences of people during this crucial time in our history.

The exhibition is presented by the National Archives of Singapore.

Join our walk in tours led by volunteer guides to learn more about the exhibition! Tours are complimentary though admission charges may apply

There are 20 places available on a first come, first served basis per tour. Groups with 8 or more persons may join the tour if it is not full. There will be no guided tour on Public Holidays.
