This space is EXCLUSIVELY for volunteers who are passionate to support the conservation and preservation of Singapore’s heritage. You will be assisting us with the basic logistic support needs as part of the preservation process.

IMPORTANT NOTE : The venue for all volunteering opportunities under Archives Conservation Lab will be held at: Library Supply Centre, Xilin Districentre, Building B, 3 Changi South Street 2, , Singapore 486548

Get involved by:

You will be assisting the team mainly with making of paper folders or with repair of paper items. Materials and tools will be provided on site at our lab.

Kindly note that we would require volunteers who are able to meet the following criteria:

► Able to work with your hands.

► Able to handle fragile and valuable objects with care.

► Some repetitive tasks will require lots of patience and perseverance.

► Good eyesight, able to work with dust, sitting and/or standing for extended periods of time.

► Being open to feedback for quality assurance.

Commitment from you:

At least 3 – 6 months commitment on a preferably weekly basis, starting from June to August 2024
