For you who wants to evoke palpable excitement and bring children on a magical reading adventure.

Thank you very much for your interest in being an NLB Volunteer Storyteller.
We have received an overwhelming response to this volunteering opportunity and it is now fully subscribed. We have temporarily paused the recruitment of new volunteer storytellers till further notice.
Appreciate your kind understanding and continued support for other NLB’s volunteering opportunities.

Get involved by:

1. Conducting a 30 minutes storytelling session for children aged between 4 – 6 years old (2 slots available per session, i.e. 15mins per volunteer storyteller)
2. Curating a book display of your recommended titles (15 - 20 books)

Commitment from you:

1. Attend a mandatory half day orientation training workshop for new volunteer storytellers
2. Conduct at least 6 storytelling sessions in a year
