Libraries and Archives

Be involved in the transformation of our Libraries and Archives as part of NLB’s LAB25 (Libraries and Archives Blueprint 2025) to enable continuous learning in Singapore, bring to life our National Collections for discovery, inspiration and creation, and cultivate an Informed Citizenry. Besides the management and operations of the 28 Public Libraries in our network, the National Library and the National Archives of Singapore, we offer a myriad of roles including collection planning and development, programme and service development, knowledge management, and resource discovery.

Technology and Data

We welcome technology and data professionals to join us in transforming NLB into an omni-channel network of libraries and archives. Be involved in exciting projects to develop digital services, systems and platforms, use data analytics and AI to drive decision-making, and formulate technological innovations and strategies, such as the Grab-n-Go automated book-borrowing system and the Digital Learning Superstore. We are looking for professionals in product and project management, IT architecture and cybersecurity, infrastructure, systems and networks, data analytics, machine learning and programming, among others.

Digital

NLB plays a critical role in building a digitally inclusive and empowered society to support Singapore’s progress as a Smart Nation. Join us to grow a seamless omni-channel experience to connect users to NLB’s content and services, and plan and design libraries as inclusive spaces providing experiential learning. We offer roles in areas such as digital marketing, UI/UX design, and smart ops development.

Corporate

From planning and executing multi-year rejuvenation projects for our libraries and archives, to providing legal advisory in the management of content, programming, services and partnerships, our corporate teams play essential roles to help achieve our strategic goals. We welcome building project managers with engineering background, facilities managers to plan, develop and maintain more than 30 properties island-wide, as well as team-players in other corporate functions such as communications, finance, procurement, HR and internal audit.
