From the Family Album: Portraits From the Lee Brothers Studio, Singapore 1910-1925 is a collection of studio photographs taken by Lee King Yan and Lee Poh Yan. The two talented brothers operated the photographic studio known as Lee Brothers Photographers in Hill Street. In the years before amateur photography became widespread, hundreds of its clients – the prospering and aspiring, the famous and unknown, Chinese, Indian, Malay and European, both residents and visitors – enlisted the services of the Lee brothers to immortalise themselves in a studio portrait.
