Our History

Choa Chu Kang Public Library was officially opened at Lot One Shoppers' Mall Level 3 on 22 February 1997 by Mr Yeo Cheow Tong, then Minister for Health and the Environment, and MP for Hong Kah GRC. We re-located to Level 4 of the same shopping mall in 2008. In 2019, we were closed for renovation. Two years later, on 27 October 2021, we were officially re-opened by Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Communications and Information. Our re-opened library is about 30 percent bigger than it was before.
