MakeIt at Libraries

NLB’s free-for-public makerspace introduces the wonder of digital and technology-based creativity to all library members. Try your hand at emerging technology like 3D printing, robotics, and other forms of tech-based tinkering. The best part? No prior experience needed! All equipment and consumables are provided. Suitable for all ages.

Started in September 2020, Digital Ambassadors at select libraries are available to provide one-on-one guidance to seniors to equip them with the skills to use technology in their daily life.

Library Learning Journey

Designed and curated by NLB, these monthly sessions help seniors understand how to use NLB’s digital services and resources. While tech-savvy participants are welcome, this programme largely explores the basics such as WIFI, QR codes and the NLB mobile app.

Conducted by Digital Ambassadors and DBS volunteers, the e-Payment Learning Journey lets participants learn how to make e-payments on their phone and scan the SGQR code to pay for items.
