In this session, Biogirl MJ shares how creators can turn environmental ideas into engaging, impactful content that resonates with today’s audiences. Through simple hands-on activities and creative exercises, participants will learn how to shape messages that inform, inspire, and empower others to care for the planet – no prior experience needed. For ages 15 years and above.
About the Instructor
MJ is the co-founder of Just Keep Thinking, an educational media company which merges education and entertainment to produce engaging content across various social media platforms. With a monthly viewership of 3 to 5 million, MJ produces a diverse range of content, including videos, wildlife documentaries, award-winning comic books and sustainability learning journeys. With a background in environmental biology and experience as a science teacher for three years, MJ is committed to communicating biodiversity and sustainability issues and increasing access to environmental education for the public.
Beyond her online presence, MJ actively engages in physical programmes such as nature-guided tours, workshops and talks for the public, schools and corporates. She recently launched the CDL Eco-Train, a first-of-its-kind initiative that transforms a decommissioned train into an immersive eco-learning hub for the public. Eager to empower youth and contribute back to the community, MJ served as a co-leader of a government-backed youth panel initiative focused on amplifying youth voices in policy-making, and also led the youth delegation team at last year’s and this year’s COP climate conferences.
