About the session

The Earth in Focus Satellite Screening is a community engagement initiative held in collaboration with Wild Space as part of the Earth in Focus Singapore Nature Film Festival. The event aims to raise awareness of environmental conservation through visual arts and interactive discussions. It will feature a film screening, a panel discussion with experts from conservation and sustainability sectors, and engagement booths for participants to explore environmental topics presented by NGOs and university environmental clubs, including conservation initiatives, sustainability practices, and climate action projects.

Films featured:

1) Nurturing Coexistence: Where nature educators inspire us to live in harmony with the wildlife that shares our city.

2) Seaward: A journey into Singapore's tidal shores, uncovering the resilient life that continues to thrive along our shifting coastline.

3) Welcome to the Forest: Puzzle of Life (Winner of Best Script Category): An invitation to discover how every creature - big or small - fits into the forest's intricate and interconnected cycle of life

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion.
