About the Programme
This workshop is for participants aged 50 years and above.
Identify your belongings more easily with your very own personalised travel tag. Customise your unique design and see it materialise with our 3D printers! Participants will be able to learn:
• How 3D printing can support and improve the lives of people
• How to search for 3D designs that have been created by other people using websites such as Thingiverse
• How to model a simple 3D design in Tinkercad
• How to safely use and operate a Flashforge Creator Pro 2 3D printer
This programme is suitable for beginners. No prior knowledge of 3D printing is needed to participate.
Laptops will be provided for the workshop. If you intend to explore 3D design and 3D printing further in your own time, you may also bring along your personal laptop to install the applications that will be demonstrated during the session.
