Facts about Clementi Public Library
Our History
The Clementi Public Library was officially opened on 23 April 2011 by Mr Lim Hng Kiang, then Minister for Trade and Industry and Advisor to the Telok Blangah Grassroots Organisations. We are a community learning hub for residents, schools and organisations at the Southwest region of Singapore. Located at the fifth floor of The Clementi Mall and at the heart of a major transportation node, we also provides easy and convenient access to commuters passing through the area.
Interesting Facts
We were the first library in Singapore to introduce the Mystery Brown Bag Service targeted at transit users within the shopping mall. Lunch-time crowds had easy access to interesting reads that were pre-packed according to popular subjects and themes.
Our Digital Interactive Storytelling Kiosks were the first digital storytelling kiosks to be introduced at the public library.
