Composed by Chen Ge Xin, this is an originally a well-known Chinese pop song from the forties. It was recorded in English with lyrics by Wilfrid Thomas in 1951 as a tribute to Rose Chan, the most famous stripper in Malaysia and Singapore. The English version actually made it to the British charts besides doing very well in Asia. Dick Lee first covered the song in 1986 in his album. He stuck to the original 1951 lyrics which is very appropriate to his romantic version. This track, found in the album "Singapop" is also arranged by Dick Lee.
