Prove It! Contest

Congratulations to the top 10 teams for the Prove It! Contest 2025. Organised by the National Library Board and supported by the Ministry of Education and RICE Media, this inter-school contest aims to equip students with news and information literacy (IL) skills along with instilling in them the confidence to become effective IL ambassadors.

Teams submitted an investigative article with an accompanying newsreel video. For 2025, a new record of 91 teams participated, with a combined advocacy reach of more than 72,000 done by the teams.

We would like to congratulate the following top 3 teams.

Champion team: Unity Secondary School

2nd place: River Valley High School

3rd place: Yishun Town Secondary School

Congratulations to the top 10 teams for the Prove It! Contest 2024. Teams in the written and video category submitted either an investigative article or a short newsreel video. A new record of 59 teams participated this year, with a combined advocacy reach of more than 26,000 done by the teams.
