  • At Bugcadia's Annual National Tournament (21 - 22 Jun 2025)

    Available for redemption: Pagie and Empress cards and NLB30 Book Bugs sticker sheet

    Date: 21 – 22 June 2025 (Sat & Sun)

    Time: 1pm – 6pm

    Location: National Library Building

    How to redeem:

    1. At Bugcadia’s Annual National Tournament (A.N.T.), view the Book Bugs: Unearthing Memories exhibition at B1 Programme Rooms 1 and 2, Central Public Library and complete the accompanying exhibition quiz.

    2. Keep your quiz completion page open on your browser. Screenshots will NOT be accepted for redemption.

    3. Show your quiz completion page at the NLB30 Book Bugs redemption booth at L1 Plaza during the A.N.T. to redeem the Pagie and Empress cards and NLB30 Book Bugs sticker sheet. 

    Note: Redemption is limited to ONE quiz completion page per person. Let’s give everyone a chance to collect the commemorative cards and tokens!

  • Book Bugs card dispensing machine (23 - 30 Jun 2025)

    Available for redemption: Pagie and Empress cards

    Date: 23 June (Mon) – 30 June 2025 (Mon)

    Time: During library opening hours.

    Location: At all public libraries except Bukit Batok Public Library, Marine Parade Public Library, Central Arts Library, library@orchard, and library@chinatown.

    How to redeem:

    A myLibrary account with sufficient points is required for redemption. If you do not have an account, you can sign up here.

    Note: Pagie and Empress cards will be available in the machines along with regular Book Bugs: Tales of Travellers cards for redemption, while stocks last.

  • Postcards From Pagie (Token redemption days on selected weekends in July 2025)

    NEW: NLB30 Birthday Surprise!

    Receive a bonus gift of two Book Bugs: Tales of Travellers cards* with each postcard redemption during our Postcards From Pagie events at Punggol Regional Library, Jurong Regional Library and Central Library!

    *Distribution of cards is randomised, while stocks last.

     

    How to redeem:

    1. Borrow 8 physical books and/or eBooks from any public library. Only loans dated from 1 July 2025 onwards will be accepted.

    2. Complete the engagement activity for the exhibition panel at the library you are redeeming at.

    3. Attend the Postcards From Pagie token redemption event at the same library where you completed the engagement activity and show valid* proof of loans and the activity completion page at the redemption booth to redeem a NLB30 Book Bugs postcard.

    *Screenshots will not be accepted.

    How to redeem:

    1. Borrow 8 books and/or eBooks from any of our libraries. Only loans dated from 1 July 2025 onwards will be accepted.

    2. Visit the Pagie redemption booth during the stated time period. Show valid* proof of loans and tell us the secret passphrase - "Happy 30th birthday NLB!" to redeem a Pagie card.

    *Screenshots will not be accepted.

  • Asian Civilisations Museum (29 Jul - 17 Aug 2025)

    Available for redemption: Empress card, NLB30 Book Bugs sticker sheet and postcard

    Date: 29 July (Tue) – 17 August 2025 (Sun)

    Time: During museum opening hours.

    Location: Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) – Approach front desk for redemptions.

    From 9 August till 17 August, receive a bonus gift of two Book Bugs: Tales of Travellers cards* with each Empress card redemption at ACM.

    *Distribution of cards is randomised, while stocks last.

     

    How to redeem:

    Empress card

    • Adults: Follow ACM @acm_sg on Instagram
    • Students: Present a valid student ID for verification

    Note: Children under age 7 are eligible to redeem the card for visiting ACM.

    NLB30 Book Bugs sticker sheet and postcard

    • Present proof of gallery admission along with the completed NLB30 Book Bugs activity sheet as evidence of participation.
