Community Gallery Submissions
These are the Terms & Conditions for the Book Bugs: Tales of Travellers Community Gallery Submissions, organised by the National Library Board, Singapore (NLB). By clicking on the relevant Acceptance tab below, participants or their parents/guardians, confirm agreement to all these terms and conditions:
How do I participate?
By sharing on the Community Gallery:
- illustrations you have personally created;
- photographs of yourself that you have personally taken;
- videos you have personally recorded; and/or
- text that you have personally composed
(“Submission”)
Your Submission must not infringe anyone’s copyright or other intellectual property. You must not post your personal contact information or any offensive material on the site. NLB may remove any Submission, without notice, should it in its sole discretion deem its content inappropriate, in poor taste or for any other reason it sees fit.
Who can participate?
Anyone can participate. However, if you are less than 18 years old, your parents must accept these terms and conditions on your behalf.
Who owns the rights to content?
NLB does not claim any copyright to your Submission. You give NLB the perpetual and world-wide right to exhibit, present, publish and archive your Submission in print, online (and successor platforms) or on any media for any NLB purposes without the payment of any fee.

Check out go.gov.sg/nlb-bookbugs, Public Libraries SG on Facebook and/or @publiclibrarysg on Instagram for updates on these terms and conditions. Unexpected circumstances may require NLB to change the terms and conditions at any time or to cancel this activity at NLB’s sole discretion.
