  • Tamil Programmes for Pre-schools
    Book Ninjas Club

     

    Held twice a year for 6 consecutive weeks, the Book Ninjas Club aims to promote the love of reading
    Tamil books through the early literacy practices and creative and fun-filled means for young children.

     

    Series 1: April 2023 to May 2023
    Series 2: July 2023 to Aug 2023

    Length of each series: 6 weeks
    Frequency: Once a week, on Saturdays
    Duration of Each Session: 45 Minutes
    Group I Sessions (3 & 4 year olds): 11am – 11:45am
    Group II Sessions (5 & 6 year olds): 12pm – 12:45pm

    The sessions are conducted online via the Zoom meeting platform.

     

    Storytelling Sessions


    Look out for our storytelling sessions conducted by librarians and volunteers at selected libraries.

  • Tamil Programmes for Primary Schools
    Book Rangers Club


    Held twice a year for 8 consecutive weeks, the Book Rangers Club aims to instil the love of reading
    Tamil junior books via comprehensive lesson plans which include reading and writing exercises,
    story discussions, book crafts and more.

     

    Length of each series: 8 weeks
    Frequency: Once a week, on Saturdays
    Duration of each session: 60 minutes
    Group I Sessions (7 & 8 year olds): 2pm – 3pm
    Group II Sessions (9 & 10 year olds): 3.30pm – 4.30pm
    The sessions are conducted online via the Zoom meeting platform.

    Join our school holiday programmes in June and Nov for a range of programmes from reading, arts,
    history and more.

    Youth Reading Series

    This series aims to develop appreciation for Tamil literature by exposing teens to different types of
    writing and inspiring them to bring these literary works to life through oratorical, performing and
    theatre arts.
