Photocopying and Scanning

Important Notice: Changes to Photocopying and Scanning Services

 

Please note that the photocopying and scanning services at the National Library / Lee Kong Chian Reference Library will be temporarily unavailable from 1 October 2024.  

 

During this period, patrons can use the following options:

 

a. Photo-taking of Library Materials

  • Permitted for non-commercial research or study purposes only.
  • Exercise personal responsibility to comply with copyright laws.
  • Submit your request via this link before proceeding to photograph the materials.

b. eResources and Online Alternatives:

  • Access resources from NLB’s subscribed databases at https://eresources.nlb.gov.sg.
  • Alternatively, view and/or print the resources at the Multimedia Stations.

For assistance, please approach staff at the National Library/Lee Kong Chian Reference Library on Levels 8 and 11.

Copying services are provided by our Contractor Vendor for duplication of library materials only. Copying in any format is subject to the Copyright Act (Cap 63, as revised) details of which are found at the Photocopying Room managed by the Contractor Vendor. 

Photocopying services are only available at levels 7, 8, 9 and 11 of the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library at the National Library building. 


Self-service photocopying machines are available for library customers at a charge, payable via EZ-Link as stated by the Contractor Vendor, as follows:

  • A4 size black & white photocopy per page: $0.10 (GST-inclusive)
  • A3 size black & white photocopy per page: $0.20 (GST-inclusive)
  • A4 size colour photocopy per page: $0.60 (GST-inclusive)
  • A3 size colour photocopy per page: $1.20 (GST-inclusive)
  • A3/A4 size scan per page: $0.20 (GST-inclusive)
