Please take note of the safety guidelines while operating these machines in MakeIT Self-Service:
3D Printers
- Do not touch the nozzles of the 3D printer at all times:
Users will scald or burn their fingers as the nozzles may be hot.
- Do not leave the 3D printer unattended while it is running:
Users are expected to monitor their prints at all times.
- Only use the filament reels provided by MakeIT:
MakeIT only allows PLA (Polylactic Acid) filaments in their 3D printers.
3D Pens

Sewing Machines
- Do not touch the needle of the sewing machine during operation:
Users may pierce their hand by accident when the needle is moving.
- Be careful with long hair, avoid loose clothing and dangling accessories:
Users may have them trapped in the moving components of the sewing machines.
