Marine organisms on rocky shores environment need to be able to develop self-defense mechanisms against predators from land and sea, as well as find shelters from exposure to dry winds and the hot sun at low tides. They also need to cope with changes in salinity and temperature during rainfall. This episode looks at how these soft bodied and delicate marine organisms, which need to keep moist, find shelters during low tides and defend themselves against aggressors.
