Abstract
A series of three seriocomic vignettes of life presented through Singapore's HDB heartland. In the first, "Flat", a man fantasizes of sexual fulfillment from his new color flat screen television. In the second, "Neighbourhood Watch", a boy has dreams of superherodom. In the final one, "Void Deck", a middle aged former child ballerina drifts about aimlessly in search of a job.
