Abstract
A MediaCorp Arts Central programme shown over 8 episodes, which takes a refreshing look at the lives of artistes and the different genres of performing arts. In each episode, an artist takes on a new arts discipline, which provides viewers with an interesting cross-disciplinary experience and appreciation of the different art forms by emphasising to viewers the precision and effort needed to cultivate good art. In episode 5, Brendon Fernandez, theatre & TV actor trades in his acting for the graceful Malay cultural dance and learns more about the cultural and symbolic aspects of the Malay dance.
