Abstract
In this video interview, Muhammad Ariff Bin Ahmad shares about his involvement in the many initiatives in the Malay literary scene in Singapore and the region, significantly, the post-war literary movement known as Angkatan Sasterawan ’50 (Writer Movement of the 1950’s), the Malay Language and Letters Congress, the development of the Rumi script for the Malay language and the Malay Literature Prize. His outstanding contributions to the Malay literary landscape in Singapore won him the conferment of the Cultural Medallion in Literature in 1987. In Malay with English subtitles.
